19th/20th century Belgian painter Emile Claus gives us a beautifully evocative impression of a summer evening.
From the ridiculous to the sublime. Kelsey Beckett’s stuff not my cup of tea. But the Emile Claus is wonderful. Reminds of French campsites by the river, picnicking among the poplars. Thank you for this interesting blog.
