Corner of Painter’s Table, Giovanni Boldini
On Wikipaintings, high-res version here.
Perhaps not the best reproduction, with light reflecting off the surface, but what a bizarre and wonderful composition.
I don’t know the location of the original.
See my post on Giovanni Boldini.

Something hilarious about Boldini is:
‘In 1929, aged 86, he suddenly married. At his wedding breakfast he made a little speech: “It is not my fault if I am so old, it’s something which has happened to me all at once.”
Impayable/Priceless!
