Jeremy Geddes is a painter and comics artist from New Zealand, now living and working in Melbourne, Australia.
In his gallery work, Geddes explores space and gravity as much as light and chiaroscuro. His frequent subjects include cosmonauts, birds, and human figures, often suspended in darkness, defying gravity or apparently in violent motion crashing through walls.
There is little explanation offered, and little information about the artist on his website.
I can’t find much in the way of images of his comics work, but I’ve included a link to the Comic Book Database and Comic Art Fans below.

I’ve been a fan of Geddes’s work since I discovered him. All at the same time, it is beautiful, quiet and haunting.
Wow, I love that his artwork is so modern, so innovative but still very approachable for any kind of viewer. I guess that’s the cartoon influence! He’s amazing!
