Lady Elizabeth Thimbelby and her Sister, Anthony van Dyck
In the National Gallery, London. Use fullscreen and zoom controls to the right of the image. You can zoom in even further than I have here.
Van Dyck dazzles with his masterful rendering of fabric, flesh and hair. I love the way he has positioned and painted the hands.

Hi Charley,
thanks again for your posts! I liked Cook and Weber, I kept fascinated with this forest in pencil. So much sensitivity! I keep in mood for draw like it… if I can!!!
I wanted to invite you to see my las mega-scene about the bell tower of Pisa, on my blog, it is the most fullfilled panel I did. Maybe you will enjoy. (Not for being published on your blog again, just I am happy of having finished this drawing!!)
Greetings!
