William Henry Margetson was an Engish painter and illustrator active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is noted in particular for his full length portrayals of women, often in fashionable clothing of the time.
He worked in a variation of Victorian style, but didn’t often dwell on the historic or literary themes popular with many Victorian painters.
