Travis Seymour is an American artist who studied both in the U.S. and Italy, and currently resides in London, UK.
Seymour works with both still life and figurative subjects, and his website features galleries of both, as well as a selection of his refined drawings. He also has a blog that features additional images, as well as step-throughs and works in progress.
His paintings are highly finessed, with restrained colors and muted value ranges, lending his still life subjects an appealing quality of stillness, and his figures and portraits an air of quiet dignity.
Seymour is an instructor at the London Atelier of Representational Art. He is also a visiting instructor at the Center for Academic Study and Naturalistic Painting in Utah.
